Lancaster and Morecambe Referees' Society is based in Lancashire, England. It was founded in 1921 and was until the late 1950s known as Lancaster and District Referees Society. Although it is not the largest of societies it certainly operates one of the most effective training policies in Lancashire and arguably the country.
With almost 50 registered referees with a significant number now operating within the pro and semi-pro game, the future of the society looks bright!
We hold training sessions every Monday throughout the season at University of Cumbria (Lancaster Campus) enabling local referees to learn, share advice and benefit from the best training in the country!
For information about joining the society, becoming a referee or any other queries, please feel free to contact us here!
Our active referees operate all the way from the local youth leagues to the Football League
Currently online due to COVID, we meet every Monday during the season for training sessions!
Joining the society offers a fantastic support network as well as invaluable practical advice!
